Spiritual Life
The mission of DBU Spiritual Life is to create spaces and opportunities for students to be transformed into resilient, committed followers of Jesus. Our aim is to send out Christ-centered servant leaders ready to participate with their Creator as He makes all things new. Our desire is that as students move on from DBU, they are equipped to step into whatever new space is next and reflect the truth, grace, and goodness of Jesus. We accomplish this by planning each event, trip, and gathering with these goals in mind: 1) that students grow a deeper joy in Jesus and 2) commit to a more worshipful lifestyle. We believe that as students experience these things, the love of Jesus will overflow from them in all that they do to impact a broken and hurting world. Chapel
Chapel exists to enrich the lives of students at DBU and serves as a breath of fresh air amid the busyness of normal college life. Chapel is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 a.m. and features student-led worship and a variety of speakers. Chapel attendance is a required aspect of the DBU undergraduate experience and is necessary for graduation.

Baptist Student Ministries
The focus of the DBU BSM is to promote the Christian presence on campus through missional living, discipleship, and hospitality, to ultimately support the local church. We desire for students to be devoted to the Scriptures, be faithful in prayer, to demonstrate the Gospel through service on and off-campus, and to proclaim the Gospel to themselves and others.

Men's and Women's Ministry
DBU offers on-campus Men’s and Women’s Ministries for DBU students to participate in. Both ministries exist to help create an intentional Christ-centered community among students. The Women’s Ministry is a student-led group for students to be equipped with the Word, trained for evangelism, and to grow in relationships with one another. The Men’s Ministry is a student-led group for students looking to be committed to the pursuit of God and growing in the Gospel. Both are committed to the outward expression of faith through study, service, and applying the Gospel to everyday life.

Global Missions
Our office provides multiple options for mission training/equipping and helps connect students to other missionaries or service opportunities. We do this through domestic and international short-term mission trips, an annual missions conference, and monthly missions workshop luncheons. Dbu also offers a Global missions scholarship. Prayer Ministry
The Orville and Esther Beth Rogers Prayer Ministry was established in 1988 during Dr. Gary Cook's first week as president of the University. It exists to promote prayer for DBU and the DBU family on the campus and around the world.
The Prayer Ministry sends out a daily email to faculty and staff with a prayer list of current needs. Student volunteers in the prayer ministry also come in daily to pray for current prayer requests. Also, prayer needs are distributed to hundreds of off-campus prayer partners as well as retired DBU faculty and staff. Every week, thousands of people are praying for God's work at DBU and in the lives of the extended DBU Family.
The Prayer Ministry provides opportunities to pray together through interactive prayer gatherings. Students are able to earn CLS service hours through serving with the Prayer Ministry.
Chapel Worship
DBU Chapel Worship is a vibrant community of students that exists to bring glory to God through worship, songwriting, musical training, and developing disciples of Jesus. Members of Chapel Worship come together from various cultural and musical backgrounds to make known the Gospel both on campus and abroad.
