Dallas Baptist University is an excellent place to grow both intellectually and spiritually. We believe strongly in the value of a Christ-centered education and transforming lives through service. When are the deadlines for the Christian Leadership Scholarship Application?
There are three priority deadlines, November 1, January 1, and March 1.

Is there a deadline for admission to DBU?
There is not a deadline, but the Admissions Department suggests you submit your application as soon as possible.

What is the Housing deadline?
The priority deadline for housing applications is June 3.

What is the financial aid priority deadline?
March 15.


Does the university provide campus security for the students?
DBU provides twenty four hour security for the campus.

When do classes begin for the fall semester?
August 22.

What is SWAT?
SWAT stands for Student Welcome and Transition. It is a Welcome Week for incoming freshmen and transfer students. The students are allowed to move in early, and they also have assistance in moving. This is great opportunity for the students to get to know each other before classes begin. There are lots of great activities planned by our Student Life staff. The SWAT dates for 2011 are August 17-20.
