Above all, the pre-law program exists to mentor students as they prayerfully consider their law school options as well as the requirements for acceptance into the law school of their choice! DBU graduates have excelled at many of the finer law schools in the state of Texas and throughout the nation. - Pre-Med
DBU is involved in the academic preparation of students in all of the pre-Allied Health fields. These areas include pre-Med, pre-Dent, pre-Pharm as well as other health career programs. In addition to a variety of professional schools, DBU graduates have also attended programs like the University of Texas Health Science Center (Ph.D. program), the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School (Ph.D. program) and the National Institutes of Health (1 year fellowship program), to name a few. Also, an increasing number of DBU students have participated in summer research programs, such as those at the University of Rochester, Yale University, California Institute of Technology, and the University of Arizona. These experiences demonstrate that our students receive an excellent undergraduate education that enables them to be successful in whatever professional program they choose. - Psychology
