NOTE: You must have completed the DBU Supplemental Form and the FAFSA (DBU's school code: 003560) before your eligibility for a loan can be certified.

Programs of Student Financial Aid

Financial aid is divided into two categories:
  1. Gift aidincludes Grants and Scholarships and will only need to be repaid by the student if he/she drops below the required enrollment level or withdraws and owes a refund to the state or federal government.
  2. Self-Help aid are programs such as college work-study College Work-Study Programs and Student Loans. Students should remember that loans must be repaid.

Information regarding specific yearly amounts for each type of federal aid listed is available in the Financial Aid Student Guide, which is published each year by the U.S. Department of Education and may be obtained from the Office of Financial Aid.
